The Entrepreneurs Organisation Perth (EO Perth) has officially launched its AI Academy, a new initiative designed to help entrepreneurs, CEOs, and business owners explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping leadership, strategy, and growth.
As part of the global Entrepreneurs Organisation, EO Perth provides a unique business owner peer group where leaders can learn together, share insights, and support one another. The launch session, led by innovation expert Pascal Finette, brought Perth’s business community together for an engaging discussion on the future of AI.
Insights from the AI Academy Launch
Pascal challenged participants to think critically about AI — moving beyond the hype to consider real opportunities and risks. Key insights included:
-
AI is here to stay — it is already transforming industries, and leaders must take action now.
-
Plan for rapid improvement — AI is advancing faster than most strategies allow, so flexibility is essential.
-
Prepare for uncertainty — no one knows exactly what AI will look like in two years, so contingency planning is vital.
-
Change requires discomfort — growth happens when leaders are willing to challenge habits and think differently.
-
Practical applications are clear — from boosting productivity to sparking innovation in products and customer experience.
-
Barriers are falling — costs are decreasing rapidly, making AI more accessible to Perth business owners.
-
The frontier is moving — reasoning AI and agentic AI will open new opportunities for executive management groups and entrepreneurs.
